Why Policy Matters
We know that youth homelessness can’t be ended without addressing the root causes of why young people experience homelessness. That’s why The Movement to End Youth Homelessness is actively working to change local, state, and federal policy to remove barriers that cause and sustain youth homelessness. Policy change also allows us to build more sustainable resources and support for young people at a systems level.
The Movement is proud to have successfully driven meaningful policy change in our state: see below for more information on legislation we’ve championed. Still, there’s always more work to do! To take policy action today, visit the Movement Action Center.
