AB 363

What is AB 363?

In 2019, the Movement to End Youth Homelessness in Southern Nevada achieved a major win by championing AB 363, a game-changer for youth experiencing homelessness. This law, unanimously passed by the Nevada State Legislature, offers a one-time fee waiver for essential ID cards, driver’s licenses, and driver exam fees for youth under 25. It also provides free birth certificates and statements of birth to help homeless youth enroll in school or secure jobs. By breaking down these barriers, we’re making it easier for young people to work, learn, and build a stable future.
